xSKB 3613-12 Overview
The black SKB iSeries 3613-12 Waterproof Wheeled Utility Case is a water and dustproof polypropylene copolymer resin case that is resistant to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impact damage. It will keep your delicate items safe and dry and features an automatic ambient pressure equalization valve as well as a secure molded-in hinge design. Also assisting is a trigger release latch system for maintaining a tight seal and easy access.
This version of the case comes with a cubed foam insert for its roomy interior space. This foam makes it fast and easy to customize it to your specific gear, and for complete protection the insert includes a convoluted eggcrate foam lid insert and a solid base layer for the bottom.Transporting the case is possible with three snap-down overmolded grip handles and one two handle which helps when using the four in-line skate-style wheels. Additionally, the padlock holes come with stainless steel protector clips.

Bought this specifically to put all our camera equipment in (tripods, stands, lights, etc.) for air travel. Packed it all in, weighed probably 60-65 pounds packed. Wheels work well, although hauling it more than 200-300 feet at a time is tiring. Checked in as overweight/size and it came out the other end in great shape. A few scuffs, of course, but everything inside was fine. So far, so good.
Perfect for the job

This case works perfectly to transport my video tripod, monopod, 4 light stands, mic boom pole, and there's still room for more! It's the perfect size for this purpose and works well as a checked bag when flying. I got it without any padding but I lined it with a moving blanket and then rolled up a second one to hold everything snug in the case. Most of that gear isn't very fragile, but I put a couple of things in their own soft padded bags too. Definitely would recommend this, especially if you'll be flying with your gear. I've have another case from this series for a few years and it has held up well so I expect the same with this one.

We've had countless hard cases. This one seems to be a great intersection of lightweight and sturdy. Latches seem well designed.
Doesn't quite fit the Aperture 120D II

I was hoping to fit my new Aperture 120D II vertically in this case, but it's a little too tall so I have to situate it diagonally which takes up more space than I anticipated. Still a very sturdy and well made case, I just wish it was a little deeper for my purposes. To its credit, it still holds an Aperture 120D II, a Godox Sl-60, and an Amaran H672 along with some small stands, umbrellas and a few grip heads so it's a very solid kit.

We originally bought 2 different cases to test them. The SKB iSeries was way better than the other brand. We ended up returning the one and get another SKB iSeries 3613-12 Case.

Everything fits. I don't have to worry about crushing anything when I pack in my car. Doubles as a bench in the studio. I was using a softer, rolling Godox bag which failed miserably. This has wheels but I use my rock n roller to save myself from wrist pain.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
