The Polsen SP-260 Rackmount 2x6 Stereo Distribution Switcher routes line-level audio signals from two stereo sources, like a mixing board or playback device, to six pairs of stereo amps, powered speakers, or headphone amplifiers. Send the audio from a DVD player or home theater unit to every room in your home, restaurant, or office. Use the SP-260 to create six zones and select between two stereo input channels to route audio to each stereo zone. Every channel on the SP-260 has a dedicated volume control, enabling you to set a different volume in every zone.
The SP-260 is equipped with balanced XLR inputs and outputs that ensure an audio signal that's free of distortion caused by interference, even with long cable runs. For control over audio quality, the SP-260 has LED level indicators that display the signal's volume for all input and output channels. With a rugged steel construction and internal power supply, the unit is well suited to withstand constant use and the rigors of the road.
Two Line-Level Stereo Inputs, Six Line-Level Stereo Outputs
- The SP-260 features inputs for two audio sources, like a mixing board or a DVD player, and allows you to send those signals to six pairs of powered speakers or stereo amplifiers.

Balanced XLR Ins and Outs
- When you�re running cables between audio devices, a balanced signal is the way to go. Balanced XLR inputs and outputs ensure a clean audio signal free of interference, even if your cables run past other electrical devices or wiring.
Individual Volume Controls with LED Metering
- The SP-260 lets you individually control the volume of the two input signals and the output volume for each one of the six zones. For example, you can keep the output level higher for a dance floor and lower for the restaurant area�so diners can comfortably converse.
- Each channel has an LED meter, so you can push the maximum volume and avoid clipping.
Mono and Stereo Modes
- Each channel has a stereo/mono selector. Stereo mode delivers stereo tracks to the selected zones. The mono mode sums the L/R channels to output a mono signal that can be used to monitor audio tracks that were recorded on separate channels, like dialogue.
- Mono mode is also useful for piping sound to large areas that need more than two speakers, like a theater or meeting area. Instead of hearing half of a stereo mix from each speaker, everyone can hear the summed sound from all speakers.
Rugged Rackmountable Design (1 RU)
- The SP-260 has integrated rack ears that are compatible with most 19" equipment racks, great for permanent install or for traveling to conventions and meetings where audio zones need to be set up quickly and efficiently.
- The rugged steel construction makes the SP-260 road-ready and able to stand up to travel and constant use.

xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
